“I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Chris Woodruff for all of his work and expertise in helping us secure our location for Chicken Salad Chick in Columbus, GA. From our first meeting, I felt very comfortable about not only Chris’ knowledge of the Columbus market, but also his understanding of our concept and where it would best fit in that market. Chris’ diligence and patience was remarkable, and throughout the process he was always available to meet with us to review our position or just to talk through our negotiations. I firmly believe that our affiliation with W.C. Bradley Co. Real Estate, LLC not only helped us find a great property and negotiate a lease that in essence saved us money, but also Chris’ in-depth knowledge of Columbus helped us choose the best location that will greatly impact our future success.”

“Laura Moseley did an amazing job in helping me move into my Eagle & Phenix apartment. She showed us the apartment and has stood with me the entire time. Whenever there was even the slightest issue – a light was out or a door jamb didn’t work, she immediately fixed the problem and took a personal interest in making sure that I was happy. I have had a string of great residence managers during my tenure in the military, but Laura takes the cake!! She is easy to talk to, always there when I have an issue and gives me the up-front, honest answer to any question I may have. She is more than fair and I always feel as though I have the full weight of Eagle & Phenix behind me. As my residence manager, I know that Laura always has my best interest in mind and I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else here in Columbus. I recommend this place to all of my friends – the location is great, the apartments are awesome, but Laura’s approach to her role in supporting the residents is what makes Eagle & Phenix a notch above any of the competition here in Columbus!”

Economy, A Focus on Columbus

I came across an interesting article in the May 2012 Georgia Trend magazine entitled “Economy, A focus on Columbus.” Dr. Jeffery Humphreys, Director of the Seilig Center for Economic Growth at the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia notes that Columbus should be adding 1,400 jobs for 2012, as Ft. Benning, KIA and NCR continue to drive our economy. Humphreys also notes that home prices are holding up better in Columbus than at both state and national levels and that with more stable home values, less damage has been inflicted on household wealth.

Columbus is fortunate to have a great leadership that truly aspires to be the best mid-sized city in America. The investments made in our community in education, recreation, public safety, infrastructure, and more over the last 10-15 years have positioned our community for solid growth in the future. It’s a great time to live in Columbus Georgia!
